On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to say thank you to all the persons who have made my boxing carrer a success, even with this new job it seems as if I have started over, living a new life which is difficult, but, our Father in Heaven knows what he does, and does it the best, The position I am now in shows my strength determination and the power I have to succeed.
Firstly I want to thank the honorable Portia Simpson-Miller former Prime Minister and friend of mine who has always been there as the minister of sports encouraging me and influencing mylife to be my very best. The staff at Jamaica boxing Board of Control (JBBC), who has been there through and after my boxing career and is still here. The staff and everyone affiliated with the Guiness and Stanley Couch (Dragon) Gym who has been there for me through my career as a boxer and coach. To the Management team that there was when Shrimpy Clarke was the best boxer in the world till defeat by Sot Chitalada, and to everyone who gave support financially, emotionally and physically. The people in and around the community of the Stanley Couch Gym who has shown thier full support of the mission and purpose of the gym to promote the discipline of young people through the application of thier time and talent in being members of the gym.

To my family, mother Mrs. Doreen Clarke, father Mr. Glen Clarke, my brothers, sisters and wife Juliet hewitt-Clarke who was there for me during and after the "Glory days". To my children Richard, Khalilah, Fiona, Kashief, Rayvon especially my son Derrick who has shown strong interest in the success of my life and to triumph in the competitive world of sports as an aspiring professional footballer. And last but definately not the least my friend Winston Lynch and my former coach, brother and friend, Mr. Fitzroy Guisseppi who departed from us a couple of years ago and sits along the high throne of God and watches over me like he did as my trainer. To all mentioned and unmentioned.
